About Us
On the Spot Productions is owned and operated by James Collins and Rich Johnson. James and Rich have been friends since 1985 and together offer 35 years of experience in the video production business.
James Collins is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in telecommunications. He interned with WTTV and eventually became production manager for HCTV Channel 19 in Noblesville. In 2001 James left HCTV to become co-owner of On the Spot Productions.
Our Equipment
Rich Johnson started Keepsake Video in 1996, a company focusing on creating video photo montages. The next year Rich became the production manager for On the Spot Productions, working for then owner Bob Ridge. Mr. Ridge sold OTSP to Rich in February of 2001.

We use JVC Professional High-Resolution Digital Camcorders to videotape each event. We know that starting with the best equipment leads to a superior product.
We believe in quality right down to our DVD labeling. We print directly onto the discs creating stunning color labels.
